And So We Begin with Hello! and Continue With An Update ~ by Eileen Hennemann

Hello! I hope all is well with you. I’m good, feeling “anxious” somewhat, but in a good way. In less than four months we’re showing our new paintings, and some of us (me) need to finish a worthwhile body of work! I’m half way there. You’d think 15 weeks would be enough time, but my creative clock doesn’t always see it that way.

And now for the update:
Last September I announced that the fourth show will indeed happen in 2023 on April 22-23. Rosemary Leach is taking a year off and Marina Raike is now represented by Sivarulrasa Gallery. We’ll miss their beautiful paintings at the show. Jennifer Noxon has returned to the Collective and so we were left to add one more to make it that magic Ten.
Drumroll please:
Bhat Boy will be our Guest Artist for 2023. You can discover much about Bhat Boy by visiting his website. Not only are his paintings sought after, he is also a writer and a map designer and illustrator. I’ve read his first book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bhat Boy’s “vivid fantasy is a fast-paced page-turner illustrated with maps and drawings by the author, perfect for young readers and adults alike.”

Over the next four months you’ll be receiving blog posts from each of the artists through this website. There’s some amazing work that I’ve been looking at in their articles. Such a group of superb painters!

There's one more artist. A Secret Guest Painter. You will only learn who that painter is when you attend the show. I know… I’m bad. But doesn’t everyone like a little, positive surprise now and again?
