I was obsessed with painting oversize glasses of water.

This is the unfolding of "Generate" | 48”x 36” 

Many months of chewing and adjusting.

My work has always been about intimacy and presence. 

Distilling this process, noticing flow, the tides of self-expression, subtracting what isn't essential is such a (life)long process. 

Having gradually learned the alphabet, edging on fifty, I hope to have many more decades with the brush.
