The Ten Collective | Vision & Trademark
A couple of months ago we - ten painters - got together to discuss having a show in 2018. We were so excited about the potential of sharing our work with each other's networks and to exhibit in such a heritage location as the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Almonte. And so, for the past couple of months, each of us have been diligently and passionately creating paintings to display at the show at the end of March 2018.
Our group needed to be branded, and since that is what I do for a living, Hennemann Stanley Design created The Ten Collective trademark, which is be applied to anything our group will be doing. We also need to be careful about our budget and realize that whatever printed material or promotion we may undertake will have to be special and reach our audience easily. Our goal - using the trademark as our flag - is to build awareness of our work, share our journeys, meet people who are interested in becoming patrons and supporters of our collective vision, and ultimately our individual diversity.
The Ten Collective Vision is to offer a showcase which highlights a group of artists in Mississippi Mills. For our first show it is specifically ten fine artists painting in different styles. The Textile Museum is a perfect venue for a group of our size. Over the next three months we will be posting items of interest you may enjoy and photos of works in progress.
